I am looking for my g-grandfather, ONIE MURRAY,who was in the vicinity of Liberty County, Georgia circa 1860-1900. My MURRAY name is connected with the BRADLEY AND GORDONS of Liberty County, Long County, and maybe Ware County. ONIE could have been a nickname. ONIE MURRAY,my g-grandfather, was never married to my g-grandmother, ANN ELIZA GORDON. They had a son, my grandfather who was named Charles Axon Gordon since he was brought up by his step-father, THOMAS P. GORDON. ONIE MURRAY was probably born in the 1850's. My great grandmother was born in 1858. This is a hard nut to crack, but if anyone has heard anything about one of your Murray ancestors fathering a child out of wedlock, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.
