Found g-g-grandparents (Leroy J. Davis and Elizabeth Jane Easley were found in the 1850 Barbour Co. Al. census, with children, Mary Ann Elizabeth (our g-grandmother) Thomas, John, Carolina, Leroy. Cannot find the family in 1860 census. The 1870 Cherokee Co. Tx.census had Elizabeth Jane Davis with children, Mary Ann, Thomas, Carolina, Rachel and Morgan M. Davis. We know Mary Ann Elizabeth married Samuel Marshall in Cherokee Co. Tx. Some of the family went on to Brown Co. TX, before going on to Eddy, Sierra, and Luna Co. NM. We know Morgan Davis and his family were in those counties as was his mother Elizabeth Jane. If any ones knows any things about any of these family members, I would like to hear from you. Who did the other children marry?
MaryAnn Davis Marshall died in Seminole Co. OKla.
