Greetings To All Najeras!
I am trying to locate anyone related to my wife's family and to discover the family history of my late father-in-law, Angelo Najera.
Angelo was born on October 2, 1911, reportedly in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico (possibly from a town called San Pablo Madera). His father was Maricial Najera and his mother’s name was Prajedes Anguiano. Angleo had two brothers and four sisters that I know of: Pablo, Domingo, Maria, Julia, Abundia, Felicia (both Abundia and Felicia are still alive and living in California). Angelo's family came across from Mexico when he was a very young boy into the state of Texas, possibly the El Paso area. From there, the family moved to the Lompoc, California area where Angelo, his mother and two sisters Abundia and Felicia lived. Angelo eventually moved to Santa Ynez, California where he met and married my wife’s mother, Martha Ortega.
Angelo died on Dec 5, 1983 in northern Santa Barbara County in California.
I would love to hear from anyone who believes they might be related to my wife's family. Any information or direction would be helpful and much appreciated. Thanks!
