You are contacting the submitter of the query: I am researching the genealogy of my mother's family, the Koppelmans, of Baltimore County, Maryland. They immigrated to Baltimore from Lower Saxony (then called Hannover) in 1834, where they settled and farmed just north of the city in an area that eventually became known as Gardenville or Raspeburg. With other German Lutheran immigrants, they formed Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in 1842. Some of the other surnames connected to the Koppelmans include Kemp, Gleitsmann, Harbison, Bopp, Raab, Maseman, Schaub, Schwarz, Walker, Hedeman, and Betz. If you think you may be connected, please see my website at http://www.bol.ucla.edu/~wald and look through the Koppelman family tree. Your personal information will only be used to contact the submitter and will not be saved or used for any other purpose.
