I am looking for Amanda Newberry the 5th wife of James A. Newberry b. 1791 in Warwick, N.Y. He married her sometime after 1870, probably between 1871-74. He lived in S.W. Iowa and we find her name in a deed whereby she is signing off her dowers rights to the new owner.
James was known to own land in Pottawattamie Co. Mills Co. and Montgomery County. He was an "Old Time Mormon" and chose to stay in Iowa where he joined the RLDS Church
We would like to know more about Amanda and her family. James died in 1880 and she was known to have gone to Harrison County, Iowa, so he may have had land there as well.
