I am looking for the parents of Marguerite Cyr, born about 1790 or so in Quebec, Canada. She Married first Antoine Bergeron, 6th of August 1811. In St. Martin Laval, Quebec. Years later she married Francois Page, January 17th, 1843. In St.Scholastique, Two Mountains, Quebec. Some of her children from her first marriage are Emelie Bergeron Lacasse, Jeremie Bergeron, and Francois Bergeron. Her parents are not mentioned in the registers at St. Martin or St. Scholastique. I know sometimes that the Cyr name is considered Acadian. Is this why I'm not finding it? Who are the Acadians? I hope someone out there can help me! Thank you.
