General Notes (Husband)

in 1850 lived either in Keiw (the writing is really hard to read)Township or
the First Township east of Keiw Township Jackson Co. MO orTownship 8 or 10
miles south of the City of Leavenworth, Leavenworth County Kansas...his parents
lived thereon a farm unknown when they moved from MO to Kansas. Moved from MO
to a farm in Anderson County Kansas about 12 or 14 miles south of Garnnet
Kansas.
The 1850 Census of Jackson County, MO, shows them as living in Blue Township,
they have Robert M and Sarilda both born in KY and Abram born in MO
*************
There is reference to a Francis A. Hart and Elizabeth Ann Parker being married
in Clark County KY in 1844 - however, I have not found that marriage record yet
and their first son was born in 1843 - so more than likely they would have been
married in 1842 or 1843 - their son's tombstone has his birth date as 1843,
this is Robert Mathias Hart.
*********
I have also found a reference to a Francis Hart and an Elizabeth in Marion,
Howard County IN...they have a daughter named Laura born May 8, 1864 in IN and
she died Sept 17, 1953 in TX...the birth dates for both Francis and Elizabeth
are about 1838/1842 respectively...could be
connected to my Francis Hart...my Laura Hart was born after 1850 she married a
Creech...but she ever left MO...the MO and KS census say that
Francis was born in KY and Elizabeth was born in IN - I've looked for later
cenus records for Robert M Hart, their son, but he didn't say where his parents
were born, it was left blank on the 1880 census in MO
************
MO 1880 census for Laura Creech (Creach) says her mother and father were born
in KY
*************
There is a marriage record in Caldwell County KY for a Caroline Parker and Asa
T. Hart date of Feb 23, 1843 - there is a Robert Hart in Caldwell County KY as well, might be the same Robert Hart with the military land record in OH??

(book)
Pioneers of Old Hopewell
by: Ralph Ege
(page - 255 & 256)
Elizabeth, daugher of John Stout and Mabel Sexton, married Nathanel, son of
Hon. John Hart, signer of the Declaration of Independence from Hopewell, whose
record, like that of Hon. Francis Hopkinson, is too well known to be repeated
in these articles. Nathaniel Hart was born October 27, 1747, and married
Elizabeth (known in history as Betsy) Stout, May 1, 1770. So far as known
Nathaniel Hart and his brother Jesse, the two oldest sons of Hon. John,
remained on the homestead farm until about 1792.
(there are two more paragraphs between these these paragraphs telling about the
Hart home, visits by the British scouts & helping General Washington in his
march to Monmouth)
The children of Nataniel Hart and Elizabeth Stout were as follows, all of whom
were doubtless born at Hopewee: (1) Sarah, maried Henry Voorhees at Hoewell,
and as far as known remained in New Jersey; (2) Mable, named for her
grandmother, and tradition says remained with her in New Jerwey; (3) Zephaniah,
married in Kentucky Mary Arms, and revoved to Ohio; (4) Betsy, died single; (5)
Mary, wife of Stepehn Bayliss of Mason County, Kentucky, with one of whose
descendants, Mrx. Mary E. Mitchell of St. Louis, the writer has had some
correspondence concerning the family; (6) Charlotte, married Elijah, son of
Col. Joab Hughton, and resided for a time in Mason County, Ky., a sketch of
whose family is given in the Houghton history, number 5 of these articles; (7)
John, known as Judge John Hart, lived in Lebanon, Ohio, were he married first,
Mary Corwine, and had children: Zephaniah, William and Francis. His second
wife was Hannah Pumes by whom he had one son, Jeremiah P.; (8) Zebulon, married
Nancy Thomas of Kentucky, and had children: Alanson, Joseph and Jeremiah; (9)
Nathaniel, married Jane Marshall and resided near Columbia, Missouri. He had
sons, Joseph and Alfred, and in 1903, one of these was still living.
Nathaniel, their father, died at Columbia at a very advanced age.

Their son-in-law was Carl Thompson. (hmmm, not sure where this came from)

she may not have been born in IN but instead KY...unless in 1843 Francis A.
Hart left KY and went to IN...and they returned by 1845 or Elizabeth Parker
moved to KY in 1843...
********
The MO 1850 and KS 1860 census say she was born in IN
***********
her daughter Sarilda Hart Holloman states on the 1880 census that both her
parents were born in KY
