August Radmer, born 8/12/1897 Akron Township, Big Stone County, Minnesota, died 6/5/1955 Big Stone County, Minnesota. Parents are believed to be Wilhelm or William Radmer and Marie Kurzweg.
August was married to a Pomroy (dau. of Mr/Mrs Joseph)on 9/20/1922, until her death; she was born 10/9/1876. He then married Dorothy Alice Knutson on 9/21/1934. They had 2 children, Loren Richard who passed away as an infant, and Sharon Marie still living. After August's death Dorothy married Ernest Dexter who adopted Dorothy's daughter.
William was born 4/7/1866 at Froz Stettin Germany. He moved to the US in 1880 to Milwaukee, WI and in 1890 moved to Akron Township, Big Stone County, MN. He married Maria Kurzweg in 1892. William passed away 6/6/1941.
Maria Mary Dorothy Kurzweg was born 1/18/1867 at Reetz? Germany. She came to the US in 1881 and at some point to Appleton, Minnesota in Swift County.
