Looking for my father's family. My grandparents were Edgar and Ida Mae (Vanderford) Williams. They ran a movie theater in Slaton Texas sometime around 1917. Edgar's father was Robert Frances Williams. I have found his mother's line (Nancy Cowgur) but nothing past Robert in the Williams line. Robert and Nancy are buried in Hamlin, Jones Co, Texas. They were both born in Benton County Arkansas. Does anyone have any information on this family?
Also lookign for Ida Mae's Mother's ffamily. Her name was Mary D. McLeod born 1848 in Mississippi. She had a brother named James K McLeod born in Mississippi in 1855. I would appreciate any help.
