Christian Crose was born 1724 in Kassel Statd, H-N, Germany, and died February 8, 1814 in Hardy County, West Virginia. He married Barbara Stump 1749, daughter of Peter Stump. She was born 1730 in Hampshire County, Virginia, USA, and died September 1830 in Grant County, West Virginia.
