I am a 37 year old adoptee in search of my birth mother and/or biological family. I was born January 18, 1971 in Orlando, Orange County, Florida. I was adopted by a family in Columbia, Mississippi. I have little information on my birth parents. The attorney handling the adoption in MS was Phillip Singley. The name of the attorney who handled the adoption for the birth mother's family in FL was Carl Thompson, of Orlando, FL, and I have been told he passed away several years ago.
I was told that my birth mother was a high school senior and she and the father were not married at the time of my birth. She was supposedly blonde, approximately 5'3" and 120 lbs. The father was supposedly 20 years old at the time of my birth, with brown hair, brown eyes, approx. 6' tall and 170 lbs. This information was conveyed through the 2 attorneys by phone so cannot be relied upon as exact but could be correct or close.
The couple who originally adopted me later had marital problems and I was adopted again by another couple, the original adoptive mother's sister and her husband. This second adoption was handled in Hattiesburg, MS. I know this is not much info. to go on but I hope it is enough for a start. I would dearly love to meet my biological mother, father and/or any of my biological family.
