Looking for information on Egbert E. VanSickel, great grandfather. Born in New York and moved to Michigan with mother (nee Eldridge)and brother (Henry Watson Van Sickel) around early 1840s. Married in Flint Michigan Pamela or Mary Elizabeth Andrews. Migrated to California in 1870s. First to Marysville CA where my grandmother was born and then to Big Valley area. Believe he either died, disappeared or divorced my G-grandmother in mid 1880s.
