I am looking for information about an Isaacs family that lived in Jackson Co, Kansas, near the towns of Holton or Mayetta. The parents were Robert Isaacs and Ellen (Lister). They had sons and at least 2 daughters--Nora & Katie. Katie is my great-grandmother. She married Arker Robbins and moved to Oklahoma. When my grandfather, Ora Robbins, was 18 months old, Sept 1907 (I believe)she died while visiting her family back in Kansas and was buried near Topeka. Her husband remarried and her son, Ora, had no further contact w/the Isaacs family, as far as I know. He passed away 28 years ago without ever finding out much about his mom. I live in Marysville, KS, very close to Holton, so it is possible that we have family close by.
