I am searching for information about my birth perents. I was born at St Anne's Marternity Home for women it is locatted in Mt Lawley. I was born on the 25th January 1967 at 4.15am. All I know was that I given the birth name of Katherine or Catherine. My birth mother was 17 years old when I was born and was employed as a typist and was also born in WA. She stated that her religion was C of E. My birth father was 21 years old when I was born and he was employed as a truck driver and he was also born in WA. The order for my adoption was granted on the 25th July 1967. I also have been told that my adoption was arranged privately by solicitors Richard S. Haynes & Co. My birth mother also placed a veto on my birth certificate in 1987. This is all I know any thing else that you can help me find out about would be very much gratful so that I may pass any information onto my 2 children.
