I am trying to find records on James Ragan that was listed in the 1840 census of Talbot County, GA. He was my greatgreatgreatgrandfather and was married to Elizabeth Decker. I have not been able to find anything on him since the census record but their last child was born in 1847. His wife Elizabeth and some of their children along with sister-inlaw Nancy Decker are found in the 1850 census of Harris County, GA. Surnames that I am looking for that lived in Talbot County are RAGAN COPELAND MASON
