Edmonson: William Elva Edmonson, b. abt. 1895-97. Appreciate any info on him, as he was my natural Grandfather, now deceased. He and my Grandmother, Cecil Bessie Forbis-Edmonson divorced between 1926-1928 in Boone Co. (Columbia), Missouri when my mother, Walsie Lorrine Edmonson, b. 4-11-21 was about 6-8 years old, and her sister, Juanita was perhaps 4-6. I never MET my real grandfather William Elva Edmonson, much less ever see a photo of him. My Grandmother Cecil Forbis-Edmonson, b. 1901, re-married to Clinton Coleman around 1927 to 1929 roughly, and then THEY had two children, Joyce and Jerry Coleman. Would REALLY like knowing SOMETHING about him and any photos if possible. Would like to even hear from ANY other children or the other GRANDCHILDREN of William Elva Edmonson in the Columbia, Missouri or extended area.
My mother, Walsie Lorrine Edmonson first married a man named Emil Taylor - (hope I got that spelling correct on the first name). They divorced in 1949, and she remarried again to LeRoy Kanatzar, my father, March 8, 1950. Would like to know something about the Taylor Family and her first husband as well, as perhaps more concerning my mom's life might be brought to light. Thanks!
