I am looking for information on a Lewis family in Montana. Father is Robert Lewis b. 1853 Hardin Co. Illinois d. 1897 Hardin Co. Married Melinda Smith / Lanier / McConnell b. 1845 d. circa 1900s had at least three children Robert James Melinda removed to Montana. Lost track of family and would love to find them. I am currently participating in the Lewis surname DNA project through family tree DNA. (Lewis of Warner Hall) Would love to compare DNA with other Lewis’ particularly Lewis’ from Montana.
