***Don't worry!*** I don't expect a relationship or anything at all. We don't even have to meet face-to-face. I have just always been curious to know the details of my beginnings on this earth. I am immensely grateful to my birthmother for giving birth to me & not aborting me because I have a wonderful adoptive family & have a life that is blessed by God in every way. I am married to a wonderful man & have 3 children. My oldest just graduated! (May 2009)
Unfortunately, I don't know any information about my birthmother or birthparents. All I know is that I was born at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on October 17, 1971 & was put up for adoption as a newborn. I was adopted on October 22, 1971. I believe that my adoptive parents were not given much notice--my aunt has told me that they got a phone call telling them that a baby girl had been born & was up for adoption and and that they got my room ready in a matter of a few days. I believe that the adoption took place in an attorney's office in Baton Rouge. I think I've been told by a family member that I was actually brought to that attorney's office for my adoptive parents to pick me up.
