Hi! Our direct Bratton/Brattain ancestor is Lemmons Bratton. He appears in the 1850 living by William Brattain at Farmington, Van Buren, Iowa. Bratton and Brattain are both used in the records but appears to be the same family. Lemmons names one of his sons William and William names one of his sons Lemmons.
