Need help in locating data on my GGgrandfather Michael Donovan. He married Ellen Fitzgerald, and they had at least 1 son John F. Donovan born in 1840 in Boston. I have census and Civil war papers that confirm this. John F. married Ellen clooney (b. 1844 in St John's Newfoundland). They were married in 1867 in Boston, Mass. My grandmother, Nellie Grace Campbell Kenney Roche married a Robert Kenney from Kentucky. He is most likely related to the Guilfoyles and the Clooneys. This would have been in the 1920's. They had a son,also Robert in 1923, I believe. There was a divorce and possibly a scandal,and my uncle Robert (son of Robert Kenney) never saw and was unable to find his father.
