I am looking for the descendents of both William Smith and his siter, Ruth Smith. Ruth was married twice, once to Joseph Wise and later to Abraham Brown. My gggfather was Jame A Wilkie. He married Jane Drysdale in Edinborough in 1808 and came to Canada in about 1821 and settled on a land grant on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Family lore said he came from the Isle of Mull but I cannot find any Wilkie names at that site. I want to find out where he was born, his parents names and any siblings.
