The earliest name I have found in our line of Days is William Day(b abt 1780, Morristown, NJ) who was married to Mary Ann "Polly" Formby (b July 1784 in Pittsylvania, VA. They were married in Aug 1801. Their son was Moses Day, b abt 1803. Soon after his birth, William Day appears to have disappeared from VA or died. Polly married William H. Moore in 1805.
