I am looking for the parents of my husband's grandfather, William E. Fairclough, born in South Boston in about 1892, married to Mary Elizabeth Lynn b. about 1895 in Clinton, MA. She died about 1954 but I don't know when he died. We don't know William E. Fairclough's (b. 1892) father's first name, but he may have been married to Mary O'Toole. ... I am looking for information on relative, John Fairclough, b. in England, abt. 1837, he built the Star mills(flour)at Second and Francis streets,in 1864, St. Joseph, the plant burned in 1872. Can anyone enlighten me on the fire? He is listed in the St. Joseph directories for 1889,1890 as a grain buyer for R. T. Davis Mill Co. and lived at 1110 S. Street. I'm looking for the decendants of Mary Murphy Fairclough. Her father was Daniel Murphy and her mother was Mary Alice. Her known siblings were: Frank, Elizabeth, and Henry Murphy. The family left Norrisville,Pa for Boston around 1890. Frank was around 6 yrs. old. Mary married a Fairclough. I don't have any dates.
