My great grandparents immigrated to Minnesota in 1891. The area name is described as Neuwalde. My grandmother, the youngest of the family was born here in US and claimed that this area was East Germany. The obituary info indicates Prussia. The name I am searching is Franzke and Hoheisel. Looking for info on/descendants of Joseph Tutewohl and his second wife, Apollonia Hoheisel. He was born 14 Feb 1811, immigrated to the US in 1880 and died 14 Nov 1889 in Minnesota. Apollonia was born 31 Mar 1838. Their first son, Emmanuel died as a baby in Germany.
