The Lally family is from Loughrea, Co.Galway. GGgrandparents were Patrick Lally and Bridget Farrell who married in 1815. Their son Patrick was born around 1817 and emigrated to America in 1843, settling in White Haven, Luzerne, Penna. He subsequently married Mary (Elizabeth?) Byrne in 1863, at St. Patrick's Church.
