I am looking for my great great grandfather, James Leahy. He came from Kerry to Castle Island, Schull, Co. Cork about 1770-90. Many Leahys still live in Schull Townlands and nearby towns. According to folklore,Leahy had at least two brothers. One of James Leahy's sons had a Patrick who married Joan Hegarty. Pat's son married Ann McGrath.
