He was born in 1914 in Cyprus, but I do not know where. His father was called Paraskevas Michaelides, and he was a cloth dyer. Alkiviades was definitely in the UK between 1938 and 1943. Possibly London and Brighton. Definitely in Bath, Somerset. He married a woman called Irene Denne.
