My grandfather, Thomas Trimble Elmer, was born 1897 in NM, and lived in and around Nucla, CO. from early 1900 to 1974. I believe his fathers name was Edward Miles Elmer and that he may have been born in Iowa. His mother was Bertha, born in 1875, who died at 101 years old in 1976 in Moab, UT with the married name of Murphy. I dont know Berthas birth name but her stepfathers name was Josiah Starrett ...
