I am trying to trace my g.g.grandfather,james taffe.He married sarah selina hanlon[widow,maiden name samuels] in 1884,in west derby. my g.grandfather,also james was born in liverpool/west derby in dec.1884. he married mary gertrude devaney. i can not find my 1st james parents or date/place of birth. Taffe: Thomas Taaffe was my grandfather. His father was Thomas also. family information says that he was b uried in St. Ann's cemetry in phila., Pa. His mother was Sarah nee rafferty.
