In the 1860 Census he was listed as "Chris T. Wagenblast". He had a saddlery, harness business located at 157 J Street in Sacramento, Calif. in the 1860-70's. The family lived in the 4th Ward of Sacramento. His last child was born about 1875 so am assuming his death was sometime between 1875 and 1880.
