My grandfather Tolbert Carter Earl born 30 Sept 1860 to William Earl and Louisa (Wood) Earl. William Earl died in 1863, she then married Thomas Humphrey in 1865. I've been looking for Louisa's family, father may be a Samuel Wood, cannot locate anything further about her parents. Also, I'd like to know how William Earl died, at only aged 40.
