My grandfather was Lee Jones (1872-1950);he married Mary Frances McCreary (1871-1946) in Clay County, Kentucky. Mary Frances had a first husband who was murderedwhile a sheriff.Her father's name was George Ira McCreary (1845-1936) a soldier in the Rebellion for the US Army; her mother was Martha Hazlewood (1848-1907).
