Trying to find info on Parents of Thomas Sheldon Williams, born 1803 in Lincoln County Kentucky. He died from cholera ca 1850 near Carson's Valley Nevada where he was on the way to the gold rush. His wife was Elizabeth Green Burnham who was born in 1806 in Duck Creek Tenn (which is now Hancock County-eastern TN.). Some of their children were: James, John Lewis, Liberty, Susan and more. According to the International Genealogical Index and Muskogee Court records, LYDIA PAUL married L. WILLIAMS on 22 Aug 1891 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. I cannot find any other source record for Lydia. Believe she is My g-grandmother, and her husband was Liberty (X.,L.,H.,?)Williams. If I am correct, she died in 1893 a few months after childbirth. I had a gg-gf who died of cholera on the way to the gold fields in 1850. Supposedly it was a place called Carson's Valley in Nevada or California. I'm assuming that there are no records because people were just buried on the side of the road. Can anybody give me info on this? My relative was Thomas Sheldon Williams.
