</title><description>My earliest ancestor in Australia was Capt Thomas Rowley who was the quartermaster of the NSW Corps which was the regiment formed to support the governor in Sydney. This was 1804. He formed a liason with a convict woman (my ancestor) what I would like to know is where he came from in UK and if there was a legitimate wife and family.
