He had an affair with Ruby Agnes Ryan resulting in a pregnancy. Ruby bore a baby boy on 9/9/1909 at Sydney Women's Hospital who she named Stanley John Ryan. Ruby gave her baby away to Tom and Ellen Bancroft of St. Peters NSW and he was fostered and raised as Stanley John Bancroft who was my father. Ruby later married William T.
