I am researching a family from my hometown area (St. Vincent, Minnesota) that originated in Quebec, Canada. Their name in our area was Gooselaw, but it was originally Gosselin. I'm researching my family line FITZPATRICK. All I know is that they came from Mayo, and they called the place in Mayo "Ampworth". Actually, that is the way someone interviewing descendents many years ago transcribed the word onto paper. Telesphore J. Beaudette who was born in 1873 in MN and died 4/02/27. I know nothing else about him. A 1920 census states that he and his wife Roseanne Delphine LeClair were living in Bemidji MN at that time and had two children, John Desmond Beaudette, and Delphine Laurel Beaudette--she never married and had kids.
