I descend from a Clarence Whitbeck, born @1870 somewhere in the Midwest. I believe he was a son of Charles Whitbeck and Anna Kramer of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Searching for Roots of Ann ABBOTT who married Francis COOPER in KY @1750. Her father's name was likely Edward or Edmund ABBOTT, and mother was a Mrs Russell, presumably a widow when married to Mr Abbott. The Coopers had about a dozen kids. Searching for info on ancestor Townsend Fugett. Could also be spelled Tonson Fugate, Townsen Fugitt, etc (he warn't particular, apparently). Looking for the burial place of Elias Turner, who died in White CO IL sometime between 23 August 1834 (sold a slave) and 20 October 1834 (estate sale).
