I am looking for information the lineage of Amos Aldrich, born 1829 in Clarksburg, Berkshire, MA who moved to Woodford, Bennington, VT in 1849. He was apparently a man of substance in Woodford and is mentioned more than once in Lewis Cass Aldrich's History of Bennington County, Vt. In 1820 there were 4 Aldrich families in Clarksburg. I am trying to obtain information on Anson Aldrich, b abt. 1836 Clarksburg, MA. 1st m. Mary Luther 2d m. Olive or Alice Hill(?). He is listed in George Aldrich Genealogy but data there does not jibe with other facts. In his 2d marriage Anson had 3 children: Fredrick, Grace and Henry, born 1873-1882 either in Clarksburg, MA or in N. Canaan, CT. Any descendants of these people out there who could ...
