My mother and her twin brother were adopted in 1929 by a couple in Alamosa County by the name of Short. Father: Edward Short, Mother: Edna. Family lived in Monte Vista. Seaking birth family of my mother. Birth name was listed as Barbara Anne Taylor, but I think name may have been issued by hospital/orphanage as I suspect birth mother died in childbirth.
