I am trying very hard to locate my GG-grandparents. My great grandfather, John William Smith "Willie", married Elminey Glover in Montgomery Co., GA. He always told us he was born in Soperton GA. He moved to Bradford Co FL in the 1930s with his family. I recently pulled his death certificate and obit and found that his parents were Alex (or William A.) and Mary Smith. I am looking for Matilda Nash born about 1843 per 1850 census of Montgomery County, Ga. She seems to disappear after that.
