Ingeborg Cerine Buckneberg immigrated to the USA from Norway in 1892. At that time she was married to Johan Jaeger. Johan died in 1895 and is buried next to Ingeborg's parents Ana Malene and Jacob Thomasson Munkejord near Inwood, Iowa. I believe Ingeborg remarried a T.E. Rofdahl or Rafdahl after Johan's death. I've just located my grandfather as living in Doon, Lyon in 1880: Frank Ferris and wife Alleis. He was born about 1847 in NY and was a RR agent in Doon.He next turned up in Oceanside, CA, in 1886 as the local RR agent. Are there any newspapers that would have covered the Doon area around 1880?
