My grandfather, Eugene Hancock, b.1896 in Springfield, IL. His parents, Ambrose and Abbie Hancock, lived there since 1860? My grandfather d.1973 in Port Huron, MI. Can't seem to get any info out of MI because he has only been dead since then. My father, William (Billy) Hancock Abbott was adopted by his stepfather in 1937.
