He married Mari Eriksdtr Svenbalrude and had 5 children: Johannes (born in Norway), Kari (born in Norway), Annen Maria (born at sea), Hannah Jensina (born in U.S.), and Emma Lorine (born in U.S.). I have just begun to search for my Canfield ancestors. I am at a brick wall when it comes to Job A. Canfield's parents. Job was born about 1821-1824 in Ohio. He lived in Wisconsin in 1840. He was born in Sandsvaer/Hvittingfoss, Norway, on August 5th 1870, and passed away in New Richland, Waseca county, Minnesota on May 22th, 1944.
