Stephen Armstrong was allegedly born in Ireland, probably about the 1770's. He married a Ruth of New York birth (1777, possibly in NY or later in the Ohio Territory. They sold land in 1813 in Reily township of Butler Co. Ohio and next appeared in North Bend, Miami township in Hamilton Co. Ohio.
