Looking for John Steinmetz and Peter Steinmetz. They went to Valdez, Alaska during the Gold Rush in 1898. Peter held a claim on Glacier Island and sold that claim for $1000. in 1899. John went on to mine copper. Peter had a PO Box in Portland, Oregon in 1898-1899. Both were born in Wisconsin, Milwaukee area. Peter was born in 1855 and John was born in 1857.
