I am looking for information on my ancestors that eventually settled in Ohio, in the United States. The name I am searching for is NAAS< NOSS< or NAUS. I have seen it writted all three ways. My great grandfather Frederick NOSS stated on an 1879 US census that he was born in France. His father, Barnhard NOSS stated that he was born in Germany.
